Rain or shine event. This is an Outdoor event. No appointment necessary, first come, first served basis. No fee, but donations are accepted. Please bring your child(ren) if possible, each child's car seat, the owner's manuals for both the car seat and your vehicle. Expectant parents are welcome. Plan to spend a minimum of 30 minutes per car seat.

Parnell Matthews had a passion for helping families keep their children safe and secure while riding in vehicles. Not long before his death Parnell started a child safety seat inspection station with the assistance of AAA Nebraska and Safe Kids Nebraska.
Please attend the April 23rd car seat check up event and bake sale at Salem Baptist Church located at 3131 Lake Street in his memory and honor. Enjoy some food, fun and fellowship while you learn how to install your child safety seats. This is a free event but donations are accepted. The donations will go towards helping families keep their children safe and secure while riding in vehicles.
