The rebate is a hangtag on the Gnarly Head Wine Bottle. Just look in the alcohol department for the Gnarly Head Wine. No, you do not need to purchase the wine. I've already done the rebate and it took about 3 weeks to get my $3 back. All you need is the mail in rebate and your receipt. Hope this helps
