Are coupons still a waste ?

I think not, i received these items in my mail box today. 1 FREE can Chef Boyardee, 1 FREE Nestle Coffee Mate Liquid or powder cream. 1 P&G Coupon Booklet filled with over $110.00 worth of coupons. Still think it is a waste ?
