I have found some local places here i would like to pass along incase anyone is looking for assitance this year for Thanksgiving. This is for Omaha and surrounding areas only. Please remember those that are less fortunate this season. November 23-25
Together Inc ~ Thanksgiving Food Sacks
Our Thanksgiving Program provides food sacks filled with the ingredients for a Holiday meal, including a voucher for a free turkey.
Congregations, corporations, individuals, or groups are needed to donate pre-assembled food sacks containing:
1 check (made out to Together, Inc.) for $10 to purchase turkey voucher
1 box instant mashed potatoes
1 box stuffing mix
3 cans of vegetables
1 large can yams
1 jar cranberrries
1 box Jello
1 pkg. marshmallows
1 pre-made pie crust
1 can fruit pie filling
Optional: Bisquick, pancake syrup
Estmiated cost of each food sack: $20
