Good Day Thursday

Good Morning, i hope all is well with you. I'm hoping to do some cleaning and such today. I have a pork loin i need to throw in my crockpot. I need to do some organizing for the coupon class and such. I am so excited about that. Thank you for the people who have decided to come join. A thought for today... over the weekend my husband and i rented a movie. It was called Fireproof. I thought it was about fires and rescuing. I thought it would be a movie like Ladder49. So it was not like that at all. It was a real eye opener for me.

It is about a couples relationship that is in trouble. She wants a divorce and he tries everything he can to not let the divorce happen. It's about bringing God into your life. Not letting the little things get to you. My husband and i both really enjoyed the movie. I recomend anyone to watch it but i suggest couples who are having issues to really watch it. It could change your life. It defiantly has me thinking and seeing things differently.

Today i will be cleaning house and hopefully baking some. I need to make some banana bread, and get the chili on. Mentioning of chili. Went with my Husbands family to celebrate a birthday at a pizza place. It was called Lansky's. I've been to several before but not the one in Bellevue. It was nice and the staff was friendly. We had been waiting for a while for our food but i wasn't going to say anything since we were a large party and it was Sat. night.

After a while the manager came over and asked if we received our food yet ? I said no. He said he would get it out to us. Came back and gave us a $15 gift certificate and apologized. I explained that it was not needed and i understood why our food was late, he was honest and said it had nothing to do with our party being big. He said they had lost our pizza. I don't think it was lost i think it found it's way to someone else stomach, LOL. Anyhow they were nice and i will go back and give them another try w/ my certificate.

Last night i had an interesting night. I was invited to be a guest speaker for a MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) group here locally. I was speaking about using coupons and ways to save money while shopping. I tried covering most of what i could. I hope i did not bore too many people, lol.

I enjoyed speaking to the Moms. If you read this and your from the group, THANK YOU for letting me come to your group and speak. If you are in doubt about anything please feel free to send me an email and i would be glad to try to help you.

I was invited to come back to the group sometime. Perhaps i could. I think i could enjoy coming once a month and learning and see other moms who may be experiencing things that i may be too as another mom of a preschooler.

Well we didn't get the .25cent pizza, lol. That's ok. We ate yummy tacos and chocolate sams
(no bake cookies.) We rooted for the cardinals. My daughter says there pretty, lol. They weren't too pretty after the game last night.

Today i have to get paper work together for taxes. Oh how i dread that, i think a lot of people do so i am not alone on this. I woke up w/ a sore throat and swollen, here's hoping i don't have strep. Enough about me for today moving on.
